FIA Motorsport Games come to the Aspar Circuit

The Aspar Circuit is one of the venues where these “Motor Olympics” will take place. The sports complex located in Guadassuar will host the karting and cross car modalities with a total of 244 drivers registered in its different categories.

FIA Games

The FIA Motorsport Games 2024 aims to be the most inclusive, accessible and sustainable motorsport event in the world. With a total of 27 disciplines, this competition offers a unique platform for young talent to launch their professional careers. It also promotes equal opportunities, allowing competitors to prove themselves on an international stage, while DNAs (National Sports Authorities) have the opportunity to boost local talent.

These “Motor Olympics” foster an inclusive, family-friendly environment for athletes of all levels, from 8-year-olds to top professionals. With more than 70 countries participating, the event unites nations under a common passion, motor racing.

The Aspar Circuit will host the Karting and Cross Car modalities.

The Aspar Circuit is one of the venues where the FIA Motorsport Games will take place. The sports complex located in Guadassuar will host the karting and cross car modalities, with a total of 244 drivers registered in its different categories.

The FIA Games will turn the Aspar Circuit into the epicenter of world motorsport from October 23 to 27.

Karting

The karting track will be the stage for the Endurance, Senior Sprint, Junior Sprint and Mini Karting categories. The track is 1,348 meters long, 12 meters wide and has 20 turns.

  • Endurance Karting (24 participants): An endurance competition that brings together 24 drivers in mixed teams. Among the participants, Belén García, Germán Sánchez and the Valencian José Mª Pérez Aicart (Castellón) stand out.
  • Senior Sprint Karting (36 participants): It is a category designed for drivers over 14 years old. There will be 36 drivers starting from the grid, among them, Rubén Moya, Valencian driver.
  • Junior Sprint Karting (36 participants): Category for drivers between 11 and 14 years old. With 36 participants, Bosco Arias will represent the national team.
  • Mini Karting (44 participants): A modality for drivers from 8 to 11 years old. It is the category with the most participants (44), among them, Nuvola Morales, the youngest driver of the Spanish National Motorsport Team that will compete in the FIA Motorsport Games 2024.

Cross Car

On the other hand, the cross car track, specially reconditioned for the event, will host the Senior, Junior and Mini categories. This track is 816 meters long, 14 meters wide and has 11 curves.

  • Cross Car Senior (40 participants): It is an off-road competition in which off-road buggies
    compete with off-road buggies. Ivan Piña, four times Spanish champion, European champion and
    second classified in the FIA Games 2022, will represent Spain.
  • Junior Cross Car (32 participants): With 32 participants from 13 to 15 years old, it will be another of the categories
    that will host the Aspar Circuit. Diego Martinez, in his second participation in
    the “Motor Olympics”, will try to get the victory for the
    Spanish team.
  • Cross Car Mini (32 participants): Category reserved for drivers between 8 and 12 years old. Hugo
    Fuertes has been chosen to represent the national team,
    becoming one of the youngest drivers of the team.
